When you hear the news, you usually hear about all the negative things going on in the world. Unemployment, the stock market dropping, people killed, etc. It become a nonstop vision of misfortune and misery in the world. And yet, so many people are thriving on a daily basis. Many people are not even affected by the news that they hear in the media.
So why aren't we all like these people? Why don't we all turn off the television sets once in a while and let our minds be free from the madness that the media creates to sell their stories and gain viewers?
Most of us have been conditioned to keep the news media as an integral part of our lives. We think that we should be informed up to the minute of what is going on in the world and that it is the mature thing to do. But is it really? Is it really mature to constantly watch images of bloodshed and police lights and civil unrest?
Wouldn't it be more natural for us to allow ourselves the freedom of living in a world of prosperity and change. You see, 9 times out of 10, the media story is just another story. Very rarely do we see the news we hear as a call to action for us to better ourselves as a country or a people. Most of the time we just sit with our jaws wide open and our minds turning into mush.
Turn off the T.V. and read something inspiring. Or use that time to better yourself so that you can put yourself in a position of power where you can make changes. You can learn many things if you were to devote the same amount of time that you spend every week watching story after story about corruption and all of those pretty things we tend to watch on T.V. and instead learn a new skill or work for a cause.
You can succeed no matter what the conditions are. It all lies in what your frame of mind is and what you are willing to do during the hard times. If you choose to sit around and be a spectator, then you will just keep watching the same images over and over again. But if you instead intend to do something to have a positive effect on the world around you, there may come a day when we no longer have those kinds of images on our television sets at all.

But get real. Means...U cud ve mentioned the maleficent activities of media for the continuous nuisance for the useless TRP.
Media is actually misusing its power. Take care.
