Rialise .: Goodmorning Sunshine: *Warning* Picture heavy post! :) ...

It was a beyond beautiful day yesterday - sun blazing, sky bluest blue and dotted with fluffy white clouds - all that jazz. The weather was really the main inspiration for this outfit and also something feminine to match my new flower garland, which may I add makes me feel like a fairy! I actually love it so much, its my favourite new accessory and in my opinion adds a cute little touch to an outfit in summer/spring. Obviously not something for everyday, but cute for picnics/beach days/festivals.
Today's post is a quick one as I am still not all packed for my trip to the US for which I leave tomorrow! Normally I go through the photographs very finely and choose carefully, but lack of time and the fact that this shoot was probably one of my favourite to date made for an extremely long photo blog this time. You will be able to see every detail of my outfit and accessories not to mention the gorgeous location near Meadowbank Wharf. As you can probably tell my hair again got ravaged by the strong wind but I tried my best to keep it tame - didn't work though haha.

I love every single item in this ensemble and my beautiful Tony Bianco Mary-Janes and absolutely gorgeous Aubrey London bag (which my close friends Mou & Pranoy got me, thank you!) finish it off delicately. This is probably my last post for the year unless I find some time to blog enroute - so stay tuned just in case! I will definitely be posting on instagram throughout my travels so if you use it, follow me on @rialise for my latest updates! So excited! Hope all of you are getting up to exciting things this holiday season! Much love!

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects
and enhances the freedom of others.”

“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on the distance I have come. But I can only rest for a moment, for with freedom come responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not ended.”

“A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination.”  ~ Nelson Mandela

He truly lived his life by the poem that got him through prison:

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

~ Invictus, by William Ernest Henley.
