Success Quotes
You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
We are continually faced by great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems.
We cannot discover new oceans unless we have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
Success is always to be found on the other side of fear.
The secret to productive goal setting is establishing clearly defined goals, writing them down and then focusing on them several times a day with words and emotions as if we’ve already achieved them.
You must have long term goals to keep you from being frustrated short term failures.
One step at a time is enough for me. Impatience is simply a way of beating yourself up.
Never be afraid to try something new!
One person with a belief is equal to 99 who have only interests.
Begin difficult things while they are easy. Do great things while they are small. The difficult things of the world must once have been easy. The great things must once have been small.
A thousand mile journey begins with one step. Start today.
The worst bankrupt in the world is the man who has lost his enthusiasm. Let a man lose everything else in the world but his enthusiasm and he will come through again to success.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Constant effort and frequent mistakes are the stepping stones to genius.
Without goals and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.
Action without planning is the cause of all failure. Action with planning is the cause of all success.
Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work.
It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.
A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.
It is more important to know where you are going than to get there quickly.
The winners in life think constantly in terms of “I can, I will, I am”. Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they should have done or on what they don’t do.
We must stop assuming that a thing which has never been done before probably cannot be done at all.
You’re not a failure if you don’t make it. You’re a success because you tried.
Self discipline is the key to everything. I believe it down to my core.
Welcome the challenges. Look for the opportunities in every situation to learn and grow in wisdom.
Our most profitable lessons are learned from failure, not success.
Believe that problems do have answers, that they can be overcome, and that you can solve them.
If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.
The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people.
No one can knows what he can do until he tries.
Success in life consists of going from one mistake to the next without losing your enthusiasm.

Interview With Warren Buffet
There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity. Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world’s largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO’s only two rules. Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder’s money. Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.
7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
8. Bill Gates, the world’s richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
His advice to young people: “Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and Remember:
A. Money doesn’t create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don’t do what others say, just listen to them, but do what makes you feel good.
D. Don’t go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
E. Don’t waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on things that you really need.
F. After all it’s your life, then why give others the chance to rule your life.”
Intelligent Thinking
A jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Microsoft.
The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.
“You are employed.” He said.” Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.”
The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email.”
I’m sorry”, said the HR manager, “If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”
The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital.
He repeated the Operation three times, and returned home with $60.
The man realized that he can survive by this Way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.
5 years later , the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US .
He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.
He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied, “I don’t have an email”. The broker answered curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?!!”
The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft!”
Moral of the story:
M1 - Internet is not the solution to your life.
M2 - If you don’t have internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.
M3 - If you received this message by email, you are closer to being an office boy, than a millionaire. ………
Have a great day!!!
Pls Note: - Do not forward this email to me back, I’m closing all my email addresses & going to sell tomatoes!!!
Smiling after reading is not mandatory!!! !

Secret of 90 and 10
Secret of 90 and 10
10% of life is made up of what happens to you.
90% of life is decided by how you react.
What does this mean?
We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us.
We cannot stop the car from breaking down.
The plane may be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off.
A driver may cut us off in traffic.
We have no control over this 10%. But the other 90% is different.
We determine the other 90% by ourself, How? By our reaction.
We cannot control a red light, but we can control our reaction.
Don’t let people fool us, WE CAN control how we react!
lets use an example:
You’re having your breakfast with your family.
Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee into your business shirt.
You have no control over what just happened.
What happens next will be determined by how you react.
You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the coffee cup over.
She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize them for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table.
A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt.
Back downstairs you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school.
She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work.
You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school.
Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit.
After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 (traffic fine from traffic police ) away, you arrive at school.
Your daughter runs to the building without saying good-bye.
After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase.
Your day has started terrible.
As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse.
You look forward to going home.
When you arrive home you find a small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning.
Why did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the Policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is D. You had no control over what happened with the coffee.
How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day.
Here is what could have and should have happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry.
You gently say, “It’s OK honey, you just need to be more careful next time”.
Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs.
After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down (instead of wasting time in arguments, scolding and anger)
in time look through the window and see your child getting on the bus.
She turns and waves. You and your spouse kiss before you both go to work.
You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff.
Your boss comments on how good a day you are having.
Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same.
Both ended different. Why? Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens.
The other 90% is determined by your reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 secret.
If someone says something negative about you, do not be a sponge.
Let the attack roll off like water on glass.
You do not have to let the negative comment affect you!
React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out, etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic ?
Do you lose your temper? Pound the steering wheel ? (A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off!)
Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket ?
Do you try and bump them ?
WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work ?
Why let the blue car ruins your drive.
Remember the 90-10 principle, and do not worry about it!
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep or get irritated ? It will
work out. Use your “worrying” energy and time into finding another job.
The plane is late. It is going to mangle your schedule for the day.
Why take out your frustration on control over what is going on.
Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger, etc.
Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.
You now know the 90-10 secret. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results.
Some Wisdom Quotes
We can stay young by focusing on a dream instead of on a regret.
We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.
What you think of yourself is much more important than what others think of you.
Freedom is the ability not to care what the other person thinks.
We cannot hold a torch to light another’s path without brightening our own.
It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it.
Your key to freedom lies in your power to control your thoughts.
Reading is knowledge and knowledge is power.
A generous man forgets what he gives and remembers what he receives.
If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.
Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them, since you cannot even make yourself as you wish to be.
Concentrate all your thoughts on the task at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.
Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.
Never leave that ’til tomorrow which you can do today.
Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.
An optimist sees an opportunity in every calamity; a pessimist sees a calamity in every opportunity.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
The greatest danger for most of us is not that we aim too high and we miss it, but we aim too low and reach it.
Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others.
It’s never too late to be what you might have been.
The joy that you give to others is the joy that comes back to you.
If there is one thing I would banish from earth, it is fear. And the only way to do that is to see that there is nothing to fear - nothing in all of life to be afraid of.
Security isn’t what the wise person looks for - it’s opportunity.
Courage is not the lack of fear, absence of fear, it is mastery of fear, control of fear.
A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.
Honesty is the 1st chapter in the book of wisdom.
No one can take away my freedom to choose how I will react.
Only a life lived for others is the life worthwhile.
The beginning is the most important part of the work.

Leadership
The difference between the impossible and possible lies in a person’s determination.
If you do not look at things on a large scale, it will be difficult to master strategy.
It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up.
To be able to lead others, a man must be willing to go forward alone
Leaders don’t wait. They shape their own frontiers. The bigger the challenge, the greater the opportunity.
What makes leadership is the ability to get people to do what they don’t want to do and like it.
Fear stops you in your tracks. Self confidence propels you forward.
Dream no small dreams for they have no power to move the hearts of men.
You can’t win any game unless you’re committed to winning.
The will to win is worthless if you do not have the will to prepare.
Leadership is not a one-day thing. It is a constant commitment to excellence, a habit . . . a daily practice.
Leaders make decisions that create the future they desire.
Challenge yourself all the days of your life.
If you want to get the best out of someone - you must look for the best that is in them.
I dream of men who take the next step instead of worrying about the next thousand steps.
The guy who takes a chance . . . who walks the line between the known and unknown . . . who is unafraid of failure, will succeed.
Leadership is the ability to get extraordinary achievement from ordinary people.
Nothing would be done at all if we waited until we could do it so well that no one could find fault with it.
Move. Go forward or backward, whatever it takes. Just move!
Leaders are not born. They are made. They are made just like anything else. . . through hard work. That’s the price we have to pay to achieve that goal or any goal.
People who let events and circumstances dictate their lives are living reactively. That means that they don’t act on life, they only react to it.
As a leader you should always start with where people are before you try to take them to where you want them to go.
In order to be happy, human beings must feel they are continuing to grow. Clearly, we must adopt the concept of continuous improvement as a daily principle.
Don’t let anything stop you. There will be times when you’ll be disappointed, but you can’t stop. Make yourself the very best that you can make of what you are. The very best.
